Server log files
When you access the site, our hosting provider automatically stores the IP address, date and time, the file retrieved, the volume of data transferred, the previously visited page as well as browser and operating system. This serves to establish the connection, ensure system security and defend against attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure operation of the website under Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Log files are deleted after seven days at the latest and are not analysed for marketing purposes.
Hosting
The website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus. The provider processes the data named above exclusively on our behalf; a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place. The server location is within the European Union.
Contact form and email
If you write to us via the form or by email, we process your name and email address, together with the optional details on company, phone number, type of enquiry and message, in order to answer your request. The details are sent by email to our mailbox and are not stored in a database on the web server. No automatic reply is sent.
The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and, where your enquiry serves to initiate a contract, Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. We store your details until the enquiry has been dealt with and no further questions are expected, at most 24 months after the last contact. If an engagement results, the statutory retention periods under commercial and tax law apply. Your data is not passed on to third parties unless you have expressly agreed in the individual case.
Your rights
You may at any time request access to the data stored about you and its rectification, erasure or the restriction of processing (Art. 15 to 18 GDPR). You have a right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), may object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR) and may withdraw any consent given with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR). An informal message to the address above is sufficient.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information in Wiesbaden.
